"We are a family business and treat our customers as if they are part of our family", says Joe Heinz, the founder. Joe and his wife Tao are very involved in the shop plus Joe's sister Meg and Tao's sister Jie and a crew of 2 full time employees: Morgan and Yesenia. It is truly a family run small business.

In discussing their buying philosophy Joe muses: "We just buy things we like. If we would have it in our houses then we buy it for the shop. We're always looking for new stuff, whether it's from an artist around the corner or around the world. Our tag line, 'Really Cool Stuff' came from listening to customers as they walked through the shop. Just about everybody finds something he thinks is cool and he always says something like, 'WOW, that's cool!'. We thought that described our shop pretty well."
